Requirements :

• Able to do designing & architecting for large enterprise systems
• Has the capacity to translate enterprise clients’ requirement into blue print
• Has to be Unix base infrastructure & storage/SAN experience (EMC, HP, StorageTek)
• Experience in designing data center
• At least a good 5 years of experience in the above
• Excellent presentation & communication skill

Around 7ish in the evening yesterday, along Jalan Sultan Ismail, during the peak traffic, my colleague, stucked in the traffic as the traffic lights in front of Shangri-La turned red. The next thing she know was a loud bang and her side wind screen was shattered and the robbers took her handbag which was placed at the passenger seat. She screamed & honked but it was too fast and what can the people around do ? She was too shock & traumatised to recognise them, furthermore they are in helmets.

There has been too many of such cases. The thing is, so often when you go to lodge police report after such incident, the police will tell you, “oh, this is the xx case today” So, this is the lifestyle & society we live in ? An accepted fact of life even to the cops ? How ironic. Now wonder our surrounding is no longer safe, don’t you think so ?

Looks like we are left to fend for ourselve, aren’t we ? So please be very careful people as the world economy seem to be coming down with the Subprime & the oil price.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Tasks:
• Work with Regional Project Manager to manage all phases of rollout for Malaysia units
• Create Project Charter and manage other resources dedicated to the deployment of the solution This will include key users, business transformation responsible, communication responsible etc.
• Manage project issues log & escalation process
• Create & maintain detailed project plans, including cut-over planning
• Work closely with local IT Team.
• Provide progress reports to Core Rollout Team & local Steering Committee, in accordance with defined standards
• Work closely with Transformation & Communication Teams, especially the Business Transformation Champions
• Other add hoc requests
• Strategise and execute development of key specialists in each functional area.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the budget for the deployment and also post deployment support
• Ensure SAP segregation of duties and compliance to internal control (ICQ) requirements
• Yearly budget of upgrade/support or other issues pertaining to SAP.
• Coordinate with Core Team to manage project timeline for retrofit activities

Qualification, Competencies & Experience:

Education:
• IT related Degree or relevant SAP related certification like FICO / MySAP/ Project Management and etc.

Specific knowledge and skills:
• Microsoft Excel, Words, Powerpoints, Microsoft Project.
• SAP FICO & MySAP

There is an interesting career growth with this opporttunuity. It will grow into a management position as Business Application Manager where he /she will take on planning, looking into IS strategy role & etc.
